Agreement to Terms ​

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using PaletteLens (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Description of the App ​

PaletteLens is a color palette tool for generating dominant color palettes from images. The App includes features such as image import, local palette storage, HEX color copying, color search, palette regeneration, and optional PaletteLens Pro subscription features.

Your Content ​

You retain ownership of photos, images, palettes, and other content you choose to use with the App.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to use any image you import into PaletteLens. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Acceptable Use ​

You agree not to:

  • Use the App in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Use the App to infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where permitted by law
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or related platform services
  • Use the App to create, process, or distribute unlawful content

Local Data and Backups ​

PaletteLens stores palettes and related app data locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your device and any content you want to preserve.

We are not responsible for loss of local data caused by device failure, deletion, uninstalling the App, operating system issues, or other events outside our control.

PaletteLens Pro Subscriptions ​

PaletteLens may offer auto-renewable subscriptions through the App Store.

  • Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID.
  • Subscription prices, durations, and availability may vary by country or region.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled according to Apple's subscription terms.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.

PaletteLens Pro currently unlocks unlimited palettes, up to 12 colors per palette, palette regeneration, and advanced tools.

Privacy ​

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how PaletteLens handles photos, palettes, subscriptions, permissions, and support communications.

Third-Party Services ​

The App uses Apple platform services, including the App Store, StoreKit, Photos, Camera, Files, and system sharing features. Your use of those services is subject to Apple's terms and policies.

Intellectual Property ​

The App, including its design, features, code, branding, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights in the App to you.

Changes to the App ​

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may also change Pro features over time, while aiming to preserve the core value of active subscriptions.

Disclaimer of Warranties ​

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will meet every requirement
  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Generated palettes will be suitable for every design, brand, or production use case
  • All issues will be corrected immediately

Limitation of Liability ​

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATED TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR SUBSCRIPTION DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $20, WHICHEVER IS GREATER, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Termination ​

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

We may suspend or terminate access to the App where permitted by law if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or create legal, security, or operational risk.

Changes to These Terms ​

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law ​

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the place where we are established, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region provide otherwise.
